Arvada Sustainability Advisory Committee

The Arvada Sustainability Advisory Committee provides strategic guidance for the implementation of Sustain Arvada. Sustain Arvada is a way of honoring Arvada's rich heritage and preserving our resources to foster economic prosperity, environmental stewardship and community vitality today and into the future. This committee works closely with city staff to monitor the progress of goals and programs. Meetings are held the 2nd  Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the Anne Campbell Room at the Arvada City Hall Building, unless otherwise noted.  Please refer to the meeting agenda to confirm time and location of meeting or call 720-898-7500..This is a volunteer appointment requiring 5-8 hours per month. Terms are for three years. You must be a resident of the City of Arvada to apply. NOTE:  A background check will be required before working with this committee. 


The Arvada Sustainability Advisory Committee has one vacancy to fill for 2017. The application period for 2017 vacancies on Arvada's boards and commissions has closed. Thank you to all of our citizens that expressed interest in serving our community by submitting applications. Over the next several weeks, Council will review applications. Please understand that this is a very long process and your patience is greatly appreciated.
