Police Department Ask Arvada


The Ride-Along Program gives a citizen the opportunity to ride with an officer on Patrol. Citizens can complete a Ride-Along request at the Records Unit at the Arvada Police Department located at 8101 Ralston Road, Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The form cannot be completed online, as the department requires a signature to waive any action or claim against the City of Arvada in case of injury, damages, etc.

The following policies apply:

  • Must be a citizen of Arvada. Must be a minimum of 16 years of age (Requires Parent or Guardian if under 18)
  • Must schedule a ride date and time at least one week in advance of the requested date.
  • One Ride-Along per year is permitted
  • Rider responsible for own transportation to and from the Police Department
  • Ride-Alongs are subject to cancellation at any time at the discretion of the officer or team supervisor(s)
