The Arvada Street Division renders emergency assistance to citizens during localized flooding caused by storm events. Flooding may occur during or immediately after a heavy rainstorm. Do not try to clear drainage ways yourself, as this could be dangerous and unnecessary. In many storms the inlets are clear but the amount of rainfall exceeds its capacity and the water will only recede over time. If you are currently experiencing flooding at your residence because of a heavy thunderstorm, plugged inlets, drainage or irrigation ditches, and you need immediate assistance please call 720-898-7720 during normal business hours and someone from the Streets Division will respond to your request as soon as possible. If you need assistance after hours call 720-898-6900 where someone will respond to your request as soon as possible.
