Becoming a Volunteer for Emergencies

The City of Arvada uses volunteers trained by the American Red Cross during local emergencies. The American Red Cross offers many preparedness courses for people of all ages and is always looking for volunteers.

Colorado Volunteer Organizations Active in Disasters (COVOAD) is a group of organizations with the mission of assisting local communities and emergency responders during and after a disaster.  View information about these organizations and how you can volunteer to help.
