Animals Ask Arvada

Breed Bans

There is a lot of controversy about breed specific legislation.  There are many differing opinions.  In Arvada there are not any breed specific laws in place.

All dogs have the potential to run at large, be a nuisance, or even bite.  It is up to the owner to control their animal and be a responsible pet owner.  Arvada animal laws are designed to enforce that they do control their animal.

Arvada Animal Management is a strong advocator for responsible pet ownership no matter what the breed of the animal is.  If you have a question regarding this information, please submit a service request or call 720-898-6850.
