The Mission of the Arvada Center is to provide Arts and Humanities to patrons and visitors near and far so they can be engaged, challenged and personally inspired to experience their world in new ways.

Since opening its doors in 1976, the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities has become one of the largest multidisciplinary arts organizations in the nation.

The Arvada Center has earned the reputation for high-quality theater productions and educational programming. Well known by many for its theater and music productions, classes, art galleries and historical museum. 

The multi-disciplinary approach of the Arvada Center allows for integrated programs, giving the Center a truly unique offering to its more than 350,000 visitors each year. These visitors include adult and children theater patrons, art and history enthusiasts, students of ceramics, dance, writing, acting, visual arts and more. The Arvada Center prides itself on its award-winning educational programs. Learning and personal growth are key to the mission of the Arvada Center.
