Join Arvada community volunteer Mark McGoff for these hikes on our local trails. Hikes are about four miles long, start at 9 a.m., and end about 11:00 a.m. Participants should dress for the weather, wear good shoes/hiking boots, and bring some water. Some trails are paved, and some are on dirt or gravel surfaces. The hikes are stroller friendly, but they are not suited for dogs. Saturday, August 12 - Depart from the trailhead behind the Remax Building on the west side of Wadsworth Parkway at Independence Drive (north of 94th Avenue). We will hike east on Big Dry Creek Trail under Wadsworth Parkway, Union Pacific Railroad, and Wadsworth Blvd.
