Majestic View Nature Center

How can you help our environment stay healthy? 

Majestic View Nature Center and Community Park is a place to learn about, understand, and appreciate the area's natural features and cultural history by interacting directly with nature! The 3,000 square foot Nature Center features hands-on nature and environmental displays, wildlife exhibits, a kid's area, classrooms and meeting space. 

The park encompasses over 80 acres, which includes a lake and wetland areas, an interpretive trail, prairie grasses and an assortment of wildlife.

People of all ages enjoy visiting the Nature Center during public hours and taking part in activities or wandering through the exhibits. The Center also offers a variety of environmental programs for the general public, school groups, pre-schools, scouts and other special interest groups. From science camps to bird walks to discovering rainforest wildlife, the topics are always fascinating and educational.

Majestic View Nature Center is located at 7030 Garrison Street, 720 898-7405.

Directions: Wadsworth to 68th Avenue, west to Garrison Street, north to Center.

From the West: Oberon Road to 66th Avenue, east to Garrison Street, north to Center.

**New parking area open on 72nd Avenue, just west of Carr Street. Enjoy the 1/3 mile nature walk to the Center. Easy access to Majestic View Park which includes tennis courts, playground and picnic area.

Summer Hours:  June through September: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fall & Winter Hours: From October 1 - May 31, the Nature Center is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Also open during programs and special activities.
