West Arvada Dog Park

REMEMBER: Mark your calendar!

Sunday, September 25th will be our annual Festival at the Dog Park 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

This year we are happy to announce two wonderful additions!!!  We have opened Phase Two of the park (opened May 14th) we added over 6 acres to the park!

We are also adding a Fun Walk this year.  Sign in will begin at 8:00 am.  It should be lots of fun. The "exit" from the walk will flow right into the vendors set up! The time of the Festival will be 9:00 am-1:00 pm.   The Friends of the West Arvada Dog Park will sponsor a Doggie Beauty Contest at 11:00 and we will do the "stamp activity" again as last year.  (Visitors will be given a sheet to get "stamped" by you the vendor, this encourages visiting all the vendors!)

If you have any suggestions in making this event even more successful, please let us know!  We will be doing advertising at  no- to - low cost so we REALLY need everyone out there to spread the word.

Make the most of your recreation time and visit some of Arvada’s fabulous parks, bike and walking paths. There is no such thing a having too much outdoors with Arvada’s abundant and beautiful parks, trails and open space.

Happy, healthy dogs make a happy healthy community. When dogs have the chance to exercise, socialize and play, they become better members of the community. Incidents of animal surrender, animal control citations, and other unwanted behavior diminishes.
