Arvada offers more than 140 parks and manages more than 2,000 acres of parks, lakes and open space that are connected by a unique system of creeks, canals and trails. Of the 140 Arvada parks, 88 neighborhood parks are located throughout the City. Neighborhood parks provide recreation and leisure opportunities and a place for neighbors to gather and socialize. The City offers 11 picnic pavilions and one park area (Oak Park) for rental.
