History / Mission Statement
History
The Arvada Festivals Commission, formed in 2001, is composed of up to twenty volunteers appointed by the Arvada City Council. Annually, these volunteers plan and produce seven family-oriented events typically attended by over 40,000 people each year.
Mission Statement
The Commission’s mission is to actively plan, coordinate, and produce events; seek sponsors; coordinate volunteers; and evaluate potential new events that celebrate Arvada as a community.
