The fine folks at Serenity Salon,  13761 W. 85th Drive, will host a Cut-A-Thon with a plan of raising $10,000 for Ralston House from Noon until 4:00 p.m. this Sunday, November 9, 2008.

In addition to haircuts, the staff at Serenity Salon will provide manicures, pedicures, facials and massages. Each service will cost $25.

Date:   Sunday, November 9, 2008

Time:  Noon – 4:00 p.m.

Place: Serenity Salon, 13761 W. 85th Drive (Five Parks area)

Proceeds from the event (including tips) will be donated to Ralston House.

Ralston House is a family-friendly site for Arvada Police Department and other Jefferson County law enforcement agencies, along with health professionals, to interview children who’ve been physically or sexually abused. Hundreds of children visit the site each year where they begin the healing process from these traumatic events.

So come and pamper yourself while at the same time you are helping physically and sexually abused children.

If you cannot make the event, you can sponsor a stylist to help reach the $10,000 goal for the event.
