More than a dozen members of the Edge Soccer Club competitive soccer team will give back to the community on Sunday, December 16, 2008 beginning at noon.
The soccer superstars will visit the City of Arvada to wrap Christmas gifts for children receiving presents through the Lighting up the Holidays program.
“Our athletes are greatly supported by the community, and they felt it important to give back to those in need,” said Diane Roemer an active parent with Edge Soccer Club and married to a city employee.

“Lighting up the Holidays” is a City of Arvada employee run program formed in 2004 to assist families and children in Arvada struggling at this time of year.
