Shots Fired from Vehicle

Arvada police were notified by fellow Westminster officers in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 17, 2010, that they had a vehicle stopped which was believed to have been firing a gun from the vehicle.

Shots were fired from the vehicle at Woody's Woodfired Pizza at 80th and Sheridan, and again from the vehicle as it traveled south on Sheridan

Arvada officers arrested the vehicle's passenger, 31-year-old William Hernandez of Westminster. Hernandez was charged with Reckless Endangerment and Prohibited Use of a Weapon.

There were no injuries or damage to any property.
