What is Santa House?

The Santa House is a place where families identified as "in need" are able to select holiday gifts for their children ages infant through 12 years.

How are Families in Need Identified?

Families in need are identified through Jeffco Schools. This year’s designated schools are Allendale, Arvada K-8, Arvada Head Start, Campbell, Foster, Fremont, Fitzmorris, Kullerstrand, Lawrence, Little, Parr, Peck, Pennington, Secrest, Swanson, Thomson and Vanderhoof. Families of children who attend those schools should check at the school for eligibility information.

Where is Santa House Located?

The Santa House has moved to a NEW location this year: Arvada Market Place, 7450 W. 52nd Ave., Suite M14/V. This location is on the southwest corner of 52nd Avenue and Wadsworth near the Sports Authority store.

When Will Santa House be Open?

Santa House will be open to accept donations beginning Tuesday, December 1 with the store opening to families to shop December 3 through December 19. Please note: Santa House is closed Sundays and Mondays.

How Can I Donate?

If you would like to donate gifts, please bring unwrapped NEW toys for infants through age 12 to the Santa House OR to any Apex PRD facility during regular hours. For facility drop off details, call 303-424-2739 or visit any Apex PRD facility or visit

If you’d like to make a cash donation, please send a check made out to AWRSAY with “Santa House donation” in the memo line and mail to Duane Youse, 6347 DeFrame Way, Arvada, CO 80004, or drop it off at the Santa House.

Although donations will be accepted throughout the shopping season, it’s especially important to open the store with a good inventory, so early donations are welcome!
