Police Seek Missing At-risk Adult

ARVADA, CO – The Arvada Police are looking for a missing woman with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was reported missing Tuesday, July 17 in the afternoon by her husband.


Barbara Hathaway, aged 74, left her home near the 7700 block of Kipling at approximately 1:25 p.m. Her husband reported that she took the family vehicle, a tan 1994 Accord, license plate 684EJN. He thought she may be headed to the APEX center, located near 72nd & Beech Street in Arvada.


Hathaway is described as a white female, 5’8” tall, brown hair and brown eyes and weighing approximately 145 lbs. She was last seen wearing a light blue/turquoise sweat suit, white t-shirt and tennis shoes.


Hathaway is registered with Lifetrack, but has not been located at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Arvada Police Department at 720.898.6900.


UPDATE – Hathaway has been found safely by the Westminster Police Department near Highway 36 and Terry Street.
