Arvada Police investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who entered a local grocery store and caused damage to cabling that could exceed $100,000 on December 4, 2011.
A male suspect gained access to the cable area of the King Soopers located at 8055 Sheridan Blvd., just after 8:00 p.m. on December 4. He then began cutting data wires causing many of the store’s systems to fail.
It does not appear the suspect removed the wiring in an attempt to sell for “scrap.” Police are working to determine if this crime was part of burglary or to destroy property.
Anyone with information about this crime or tips as to the identity of the suspect should call the Arvada Police Department at 720-898-6900.
A reward of up to$1,000 is being made available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the suspect.
