The Annual Fine Art Market Show and Sale in the Main Gallery is in its 30th year. This show and sale is the perfect place to find a unique, handmade, quality gift for everyone on your list this holiday season, or for yourself! Items included in the sale range from jewelry, ceramics, handwoven pieces, woodworking, metalsmithing, and handmade notebooks and cards to paintings, prints, drawing, photography, and mixed media works.

 

Apex PRD's Santa Mail Box

Daily, December 1 – 18

Children can write and decorate their letters to Santa, put a return address on the envelope and drop it in the mailbox. Each night the Apex Center helpers will get the letters to Santa and he will write back to you before Christmas Day!

 

Saturdays with Santa in Olde Town Square

Saturdays, December 3 thru December 17; 12 – 3 p.m.

Santa will be in the Olde Town Square (57th and Olde Wadsworth) for picture opportunities and horse drawn carriage rides through Olde Town will be available, plus holiday entertainment on each Saturday. Bring your own cameras! Pictures with Santa are FREE! Carriage rides are $10 per adult, $5 per child 2-16 and little one on laps are free. Hot chocolate and holiday treats will be available for purchase. Canned food donations will be accepted and donated to the food bank at The Rising Church.
 

Carriage Rides in Olde Town Arvada

Saturdays, December 3 thru December 17; 12 – 3 p.m.

Apex PRD's Santa Breakfast

Saturday, December 3; 9 – 9:30 a.m.

Community Recreation Center

Bring the entire family for breakfast with Santa. Afterward, enjoy family entertainment and visit with Santa. An adult must accompany children. Children two and under are free, but still need to register. No tickets sold at the door. Register by Nov. 30.

 

Olde Town Arvada's Lagniappe

Tuesday, December 6; 6 – 8 p.m.

Throughout Olde Town

Celebrate Lagniappe (lawn-yahp) as local business owners stay open late and thank their loyal customers with small gifts of appreciation. The Arvada Chorale performs at 5:30 p.m. in the square and the Mayor will begin the festivities by lighting the tree.  There will be carriage rides around Olde Town (6 - 9 p.m.), the Chili Cook-Off to benefit Arvada Fire will take place at Kline’s (6 - 8 p.m.) and Santa will be waiting to meet young children and listen to their Holiday wishes in the Library (5:30-8:30 p.m.).

 

Eco-Holiday Crafts at Majestic View Nature Center
