Drug Take Back Set for Saturday, April 28

The Arvada Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration and other local entities are teaming-up for a fall Drug Take Back event on Saturday, April 28, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Arvada Police Department's parking lot, 8101 Ralston Rd.

When over-the-counter or prescription medications are no longer needed they should be removed from the home. The Drug Take Back program gives residents a safe way to dispose of these types of medications.

The program is easy! Simply gather up your unused, unwanted and expired medications and drop them at Arvada's drop box or other sites around the metro area on April 28, 2012.
