Arvada Police Seeking Public’s Assistance in Locating Accused Child Molester


The Arvada Police are seeking the public’s help in locating accused child molester Jason McDavitt (DOB 2/1/76).

tt had moved from Colorado and was living in Long Beach, California when charges were filed in 2011. The Long Beach Police Department, working in conjunction with the Arvada Police, apprehended McDavitt who was then extradited to Jefferson County Jail.


McDavitt failed to appear at his trial on Monday, December 10 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. McDavitt also has a restraining order in place where he is to have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.

McDavitt is a White/Hispanic male, 5’9” tall, with black hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos, including one of Bob Marley on his right forearm. He is known to have family in California, Ohio, Washington and New York.
