Colorado Community Media, publisher of the Arvada Press, has announced the winners of its 2012 "Best of the Best" readers poll conducted in all nine of Colorado Community Media's regional publications.
The City of Arvada is proud to boast receiving three “Best of the Best” awards in the Sports and Recreation categories for Jefferson County, including First Place in Golf for the West Woods Golf Club!
Built by the City of Arvada in 1994, West Woods Golf Club boasts three nine-hole courses: the Sleeping Indian, the Cottonwood and the Silo. The club house offers banquet and event facilities and also a number of outing and tournament packages for any occasion. In addition to being named the best place to play golf in Jefferson County, the “Best of the Best," article further complimented the West Woods Golf Club by stating: "The staff at West Woods is friendly, and the catering and restaurant staff can whip up a delicious meal when you head in from a great day on the course and the driving range."
