The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) is implementing a $4.5M U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant called the Sustainable Communities Initiative (SCI). The SCI involves corridor planning and developing a corridor vision and recommendations for implementation strategies for three FasTracks corridors: East, Gold and Northwest.
DRCOG will be starting work in the Gold Line Corridor, convening both a Corridor Working Group (CWG) with technical staff and an advisory Corridor Stakeholder Committee (CSC) with community leaders representing residential and business interests in the corridor to help guide and inform the planning process.
DROG is looking for engaged residents who may have been involved in local or station area planning projects and/or community leaders that work or do business in the corridor. If you are interested in serving on the committee, please complete an application by Wednesday, May 22. Contact Ashley Kaade at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-480-6781 for more information.
