Spring Clean Up Completed
This program will run three consecutive weeks, Monday through Friday, from May 4 – May 22, 2009.
Spring Cleanup continues. . .Each week the contractor, Allied Waste Services, will complete cleanup in one third of the City. Residents must have items for pickup at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on Monday of the week designated for pickup in your section of the City.
Residents can also drop off items at the Streets Maintenance Division, 6161 Olde Wadsworth Blvd Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. from May 4 - May 22. See brochure for acceptable items.

Trash picked up?
The first week we collected 309.43 tons of trash. The first week has been completed for curb side pickup.
The second week we collected 372.97 tons of trash. The second week has been completed for curb side pickup.
The final week we collected 397.85 tons of trash. The final week has been completed for curb side pickup.
The drop off collected 34.54 tons of trash.
Overall we have collected 1114.79 tons of trash.
If residents still have large items from the curb side pickup, please bring down to Streets Maintenance Division, 6161 Olde Wadsworth Blvd Monday through Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. until May 22.

Once again, the City of Arvada is offering a FREE, large-item curbside pickup for residences (not businesses) within the Arvada City limits.
Important Notes
- The purpose of this program is to dispose of large household items that residential trash service companies will not collect without extra payment.
- You must live within the Arvada City limits to participate in this program.
- When you determine the pickup schedule for your area, items MUST be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. of the FIRST day of pickup dates scheduled for your area.
- Pickups will be made from private streets only if they are wider than 20 feet and loop to a public street, connect to a public street at both ends, or end with a standard sized cul-de-sac.
