Police Teen Academy Wants You!
Members of the Arvada Police Department
will teach students about many aspects of policing including building
searches, arrest tactics, and criminal law. The cost of the five-day
program is $20.
Priority enrollment will be given to students from Arvada Senior, Arvada West, Pomona and Ralston Valley high schools as well as those who are enrolled at Faith Christian Academy and Arvada city residents.
Wheat Ridge High School students are also welcome to apply.
A waiting list will be established for students outside the city limits. Class size is limited to 20 students.
How to Apply
To apply for the Teen Police Academy,
students must have a valid driver’s license, and a minimum GPA of
at least 2.0, and complete a short biography/written essay expressing
your interest in attending the Teen Academy.
