Pavement Maintenance and Potholes
The City's Streets Division is responsible for providing a well maintained street system in order to maximize infrastructure life at minimum long term cost and to ensure safe transportation. The Division utilizes a pavement management program to maintain a street condition inventory, develop budget requests and determine cost effective maintenance projects such as patching, milling, overlaying, crack sealing, sealcoating, chip sealing, slurry sealing and microsurfacing.
Streets Division crews maintain the public alleys and gravel road shoulders, patch potholes and deteriorated pavement and overlay streets with new asphalt.
Requests for Pothole Repair
To report a pavement pothole that does not warrant emergency response please call the Streets Division at (720) 898-7720 or provide a service request using the City's Ask Arvada system, see related links. If emergency response is necessary, please call the City Communications Center at 720-898-6900.
Please provide the approximate address of the problem or nearest street intersection and leave your name and phone number, or email address, so our response system can call or email you back as soon as possible to confirm that we received your request.
Your request will be logged into our work order system and the Streets Division will repair the pothole on the next working day, weather permitting. Potholes and street damage that require significant repair time will need to be scheduled, in which case we will make temporary repairs as necessary.
