Paperless Application Process Launches March 26th
It has long been a goal of the City of Arvada’s Human Resources Department to give job applicants the opportunity to apply 'online.' Beginning March 26, that goal will be achieved.
Over the last few months, the Department has been working to update the entire recruitment process—not just the ability to apply for positions via the internet, but also to keep applicant data on record for future position openings.
On Monday, March 26, the Human Resources Department will go ‘electronic,’ meaning no more paper applications. All applicants will apply and receive application status updates through their e-mail address.
Applicants who do not have a home computer or e-mail address, or who need extra help, can come to Arvada City Hall and apply at two computer stations which will be located in the lobby of the Human Resources Department on the third floor. Applicants can also access the website at their local library.
Each applicant will have their own “Career Center” where they can store their application, resume, transcripts, etc. Applicants will have the ability to enter specific jobs in which they are interested, receive e-mails when new postings occur, and review the status of each advertised posting.
Specific questions regarding the new application process may be directed to the Human Resources Department at 720-898-7555.
