Meyers Pool Repair Timeline Announced

Apex Park and Recreation District has identified the necessary repairs and a reopening timeline for George J. Meyers Indoor Pool, 7900 Carr Drive, Arvada, which is currently closed due to internal structural damage.

Some of the wooden support beams have rotted internally, and in order to restore structural integrity, the repair work will be completed in two phases. Phase I involves temporary shoring. Once in place, this shoring will allow for reopening the pool around mid-November. The pool can then be safely operated with all activities resumed, and the shoring will remain in place until the final repairs are made in the less-busy season in late summer.
