Mayor Bob Frie
Mr. Frie received his Bachelor of Arts Degree Cum Laude from St. Mary's College in Minnesota and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He has been a practicing attorney since 1971 in Colorado and since 1985 has been a partner in the law firm of Frie, Arndt & Danborn P.C. He specializes in Elder Law; Law affecting businesses and real estate; wills, estates, and trusts; and contracts. Frie, Arndt & Danborn received the “Law Firm of the Year” award in 2005 from the Denver Bar Foundation for its “extraordinary efforts and dedication to providing ‘pro bono’ legal services” to the indigent through the Metropolitan Volunteer Lawyers organization
Mr. Frie has also served on the Arvada Council for the Arts and Humanities, the Arvada Fire Protection District Board, the Colorado Bar Association Board of Governors, the Spirit of Christ Catholic Community Parish Council, the Board of Trustees of Holy Family High School, the Board of Directors of Metropolitan Lawyer Referral Service, the Community Board of Norwest Bank of Arvada, the Red Rocks Community College Foundation. He is a Past Professor in the Regis College MBA program and Denver Community College.
Bob Frie has been married to Candy Frie for 41 years and they have two children and two grandchildren.
