Kite Festival Draws Over 4,000 Attendees

Blue skies and strong breezes created the perfect conditions for a fun-filled Arvada Kite Festival on April 5.  Celebrating National Kite Month, kite flyers of all ages took to the skies for the sixth annual Festival produced by the Festivals Commission and the Foothills Kite Club.  The day included kite flying competitions, flying demonstrations, kids’ activities, food, and entertainment.
