It’s Tea Time!

Bring out your “Sunday goin' to meetin’” duds, your life stories, and your good time attitude for the Fourth Annual Senior High Tea for people age 90 and over. The Egg Shell Restaurant will be decorated for an unforgettable evening of fascinating stories, wonderful entertainment, a sing along, and gifts. Tea sandwiches and desserts will be abundant plus an assortment of delicious teas to satisfy most tastes.  Each attendee can invite a guest to join the festivities on March 15 from 5:00 p.m.  to 7:00 pm. at 5777 Olde Wadsworth Boulevard in Olde Town.

“Everyone is encouraged to say something about themselves.  These stories can get quite involved and fun!,” said event co-chair Mary VanDoozer.  “We try to do some singing with audience participation and it’s terrific.  It's always a rewarding experience for me and I think for everyone else as well.”

One attendee of the High Tea appreciated the panache of this event, stating, “I haven’t been to such a nice event since I don’t know when.  Everything was so pleasant and nicely done.  Thank you for not forgetting us old folks.”
