Herencia Milenaria (translated as a “thousand-year heritage”) is the second of two exhibitions presented in partnership with the Mexican Consulate and Mexican Cultural Center in Denver to celebrate Mexico’s bicentennial. Made available by the Mexican government, this exceptionally fine exhibition of traditional and modern ceramics features artists from the city of Tonalá in the central Mexican state of Jalisco.
