Front Range Youth Symphony to Honor Conductors

The Front Range Youth Symphony (FRYS), Symphonic Strings, and Concert Strings will perform on April 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Arvada Center’s Main Stage Theater.  During this annual Teacher Appreciation Concert, FRYS students invite teachers of their choice to attend the concert free of charge.  The teachers are recognized during the program. 

The April 23 concert will be the last for FRYS conductors Brett and Stephanie Wallace, who are retiring after 16 years of dedicated teaching.  The program includes music particularly enjoyed by the Wallaces, including Smetena’s Moldau, themes from Miss Saigon, and Dvorak’s New World Symphony.
