Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex

Entry at 58th Avenue and Oak Street

4:00 p.m. – end of fireworks display

Celebrate Independence Day in Arvada mingling with neighbors and friends, as the City of Arvada, Apex Park & Recreation District, Arvada Festivals Commission and KOOL105 provide free entertainment.  A variety of food will be available for purchase! Fireworks cap off the evening, but don’t miss the incredible fun during daylight hours.


Important Notices

  • NO personal fireworks, alcohol or animals are permitted at the sports complex. 
  • NO  overnight camping allowed.
  • There will be two ATM machines available at this event. 
  • You can bring in your grills, but they must be PROPANE ONLY .

One of the bands from the Jam out Hunger - Battle of the Bands will be performing at the Festival!

Remote control cars as well as Berg cars (like tricycles but better)!


Yes there will be food and food trucks!  Come spend the afternoon with us and enjoy your day and please support our community and food vendors.

Parking will be available with gates to the Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex opening at 3:00 p.m.  Handicapped parking is available in the small parking lot off Oak Street.  Large recreational vehicles will be directed to a parking area in the Stenger Soccer Complex. No parking will be allowed on Kipling Parking, entry and all activities are FREE.

What to Expect:

Thousands of people enjoying the day and free activities.  Face painters, bouncy houses, sensory games, R C cars, human hamster balls, many community vendors and tons of fun!  Purchase great food from our many different vendors and come buy wares from the community vendors.
