The City of Arvada Division of Housing has Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) funds available to help Arvada citizens with Xcel bills.  The funds are made available on a quarterly basis: February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1, and are offered on a first come, first served basis.  Once the funds are exhausted, applicants must wait until the beginning of the next quarter.  Anyone can apply for assistance.  Current bills are not eligible, but if your bill is at least one day delinquent or if you have received a shut off notice from Xcel Energy, assistance is available.  Applicants must call 720-898-7496 for an appointment.  Assistance may only be provided once per year (between November of 2008 and October of 2009).
