Adams County Offers
Adoption and Foster Care Information Workshops


The Children and Family Center of Adams County hosts two free adoption and foster care information workshops every month. Workshops are held on the first Thursday from noon - 1:30 p.m., and the third Thursday, from 6:30 - 8 p.m., at the Children and Family Center, 7401 N. Broadway.
When you attend, you will learn:
~How and why children are placed in foster care.
~How foster and adoptive homes are licensed.
~The types of children who enter in foster care and children waiting for permanent homes.
~Training requirements.
~What it is like to be a foster or adoptive parent.
~How to complete your application.
