Peer Assistance Services is a 501-c-3 non profit in Denver with a 20 year history of providing substance abuse prevention and intervention based services in Colorado. Adams County Connections is a program of Peer Assistance Services designed to serve youth at Hodgkins Middle School of Adams County School District 50 with adult volunteers to serve as their mentors. Mentors will spend an average of eight hours per month with their mentee and the mentee will participate in a minimum of one hour tutoring weekly. 2170 S Parker Rd, Suite 229

In addition, Adams County Connections will provide quarterly community service projects, bi-monthly Life Skills trainings for mentors and mentees, and monthly recreational activities for matches. Adams County Connections will also provide low cost and no cost activities for matches to attend and free tickets to cultural and sporting events in the metro area.
Through providing the services described above, Adams County Connections will improve academic achievement, strengthen school bonding, and promote pr-social norms and behavior.
