So what is Young Life?

Since the ministry began in 1941, Young Life leaders have entered the adolescent world because we know that significant relationships with adults are hard to find there. Young Life leaders seek to love kids unconditionally, as children of God. Young Life leaders go to where kids are, get involved in their world, caring about their hearts. We model trust, respect and responsibility and hopefully earn the right to be heard on matters of heart and soul. Think of us as missionaries to a sometimes hostile, always challenging, and very promising "tribe" of teenagers at your local school!

Young Life offers healthy, creative fun and clear information about Jesus Christ. Each week, students pack in someone's house for Club, which has been described as an experience in "controlled chaos." Through songs, humor and games, Club starts to break down the walls around kids' hearts. Every Club ends with a talk about the Gospel in terms kids can understand. For many kids, Club is the beginning of their spiritual journey.

Young Life also offers weekly small groups, where kids can dig deeper into what it means to live their life with God. These groups, called Campaigners, also meet in homes with a Young Life leader.
