Metropolitan State College of Denver is one of the largest public four-year colleges in the United States and is the second largest higher-education institution in Colorado. Adjacent to the financial and artistic heart of downtown Denver, Metro State and its students reflect the city’s rich mixture of ethnicity, economic background, age and culture. The College’s accessibility is made possible through its modified open-enrollment policy, affordable tuition and financial aid awards.

Metro State offers day, night, weekend, correspondence and online courses at the downtown Auraria campus and at its two suburban satellite campuses, Metro South and Metro North.

The college offers 50 major fields of study and 80 minors through its three schools: Business; Letters, Arts and Sciences; and Professional Studies. Degrees include bachelor of science, bachelor of arts and bachelor of fine arts.

Metro State professors are master teachers, recruited for their desire and ability to teach, averaging more courses and more time in the classroom than faculty at any other Colorado state college or university. Many have worked in fields such as business and finance law, accounting, computer science, aviation and the arts and incorporate their real-world professional experience into their teaching.
