City Does Not Endorse Any Specific Contractors

After the severe weather on July 20, 2009, lots of Arvadans need roof repairs, windows or siding replaced, etc.  The City does not endorse any particular contractor.  Any materials provided by contractors that use the City's name or logo, implying that the City either endorses this company or that work is required at your home, should be ignored. 

Residents should also be aware of "travelling" contractors who take advantage of these situations, and who may try to convince you that they can complete the work without a contractor's license or City permit. 

In order to ensure quality work that meets City codes, is structurally safe, and will pass inspection, the City requires contractors to be licensed to work in the City of Arvada.  Do not fall prey to "travelling" contractors who may do substandard work and will leave town, leaving you no recourse.
