Citizens Capital Improvement Committee

The City has identified over $150 million worth of important capital improvement projects, including constructing new streets and providing street maintenance, park development, new facilities, and replacing water and sewer lines. In the meantime, existing revenues are barely keeping pace with the expenses of providing ongoing services.

In September, 2007, the Arvada City Council created a Citizens' Capital Improvement Committee with the goal of establishing a prioritization list for City Council consideration.
