ARVADA, CO – The Arvada Center's 2008/2009 Theater Season has generated quite a buzz, and the numbers are there to prove it. Having reached $1 million in subscription sales, we are poised hit our goal of $1.1 million.


A total of 5,691 subscriptions have been received, of which 24%, or 1,372 patrons, are new subscribers. New subscribers are up 63% from the previous season, and subscriptions are still coming in at a strong pace.  Last year we the Center had a total of 5,337 subscribers and is on track to exceed its goal of 6,000 subscribers, representing a 12% increase in subscriptions. "It truly is a blockbuster season and we are incredibly pleased and excited about the numbers of subscribers that agree and have purchased season tickets,." - states Gene Sobczak, Executive Director of the Arvada Center.

Les Miserable

September 16 – October 12

After 16 amazing years on Broadway, Les Miserables makes its way to the Arvada Center's main stage. This Tony Award®-winning musical is an epic saga of one man's escape from social injustice and is simply a Must See!

Hollywood Arms

October 21– November 23

Co-written by the late Carrie Hamilton and her mother Carol Burnett, Hollywood Arms, the Tony Award®-winning dramedy set in 1940's Hollywood, chronicles a cast of characters based on Burnett's memoir.

A Wonderful Life

November 25 – December 28

Based on the classic holiday movie starring Jimmy Stewart, A Wonderful Life is a joyful musical adaptation of this sentimental favorite and the perfect holiday show.

The Crucible

February 3 – March 8
