Arvada Center Summer Entertainment Series: Colorado Symphony Orchestra
ARVADA, CO – As part of the Summer Entertainment Series at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, the Colorado Symphony Orchestra presents Mozart under Moonlight on Thursday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Arvada Center's Outdoor Amphitheater.
Jeffrey Kahane, music director and piano, leads the CSO in a rare treat of a performance—an all-Mozart evening at the Arvada Center. As the region's only full-time professional orchestra, the CSO embraces a tradition of musical excellence and enriches the souls of music lovers of all ages. This memorable concert features Kahane at the keyboard and includes Overture from the Abduction from the Seraglio, K. 384, Piano Concerto No. 20, K. 466 and Symphony No. 39 in E flat major, K. 543. An evening of great classical music under the moonlight is an event you won't want to miss.
Tickets are $40 for Premium Covered seats, $30 for Covered, $20 for Lawn and $10 for Child (Lawn). For tickets, call the Arvada Center box office at (720) 898-7200 or visit arvadacenter.org. All summer concerts are held rain or shine.
A barbecue dinner is available from the Arvada Center's catering service for a cost of $11.95 in advance or $12.95 at the concert. Meals can be ordered when purchasing tickets. In compliance with city regulations, no alcoholic beverages or glass containers can be brought into the amphitheater. The Arvada Center offers beer and wine service. Concessions open at 6:00 p.m. Patrons are welcome to bring their own meals to the performances.
