“Nobody does children’s theater like
the Arvada Center.”– John Moore, The Denver Post
ARVADA, CO – The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities presents Just So, the Children’s Theater spring production inspired by the stories of Rudyard Kipling, running February 17 – May 9, 2009.
Ever wonder how life’s little mysteries came about? It’s time to find out! Set in a once-upon-a-time land of trunkless elephants, thin-skinned rhinos, and spotless leopards, everything is “just so” until a great adventure transforms them all. Rudyard Kipling’s famous tales, including How the Elephant Got His Trunk and How the Leopard Got His Spots, come to life to take you on a fun filled ride of fantasy, humor and song as you discover the answers. This witty and clever musical about courage, individuality and friendship is sure to delight the mind and expand the imagination in kids and adults alike! Just So is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
Just So is directed by Edith Weiss and choreographed by Kitty Skillman-Hilsabeck. The cast for Just So includes: Thomas Castro (Leopard/Ensemble/US Elephant Child), Amanda Earls (Eldest Magician), Daniel Langhoff (Jaguar/Ensemble/US Rhino, Parsee), John Mothershead (Elephant Child), L.
