Adopt-A-Trail

The Adopt-A-Trail program utilizes the resources of volunteers to assist the Parks Department in keeping Arvada's trail system beautiful.

Through the Adopt-A-Trail program short sections of trail are adopted by individuals, companies, schools and other groups. The adopting party enters into an agreement with the City of Arvada, stating that they will be responsible for picking up litter along a specified portion of trail for a period of one year.

The Parks Department provides trash bags and posts signs along the adopted trail, giving recognition to individuals or group volunteers.
