(Arvada, CO) – The City of Arvada’s City Clerk is reporting the Final “Unofficial” results from the election on November 1, 2011.
The following are the winners from the election:
- Mayor: Marc Williams
- At-large Councilmember: Bob Fifer

Ballot measures to modernize language in the City Charter, voting on emergency ordinances, requiring a City Manager to become a resident within six months of being appointed, and adopting language from the National Civic League’s Model Charter dealing with Council not to interfere passed by voters, while the measure to allow for an employee from another municipality to run for public office in Arvada did not.
“Voter turnout was exceptional for this election cycle,” said City Clerk, Chris Koch. “We had nearly 50 percent of our voting community take part in this election, which is unusual to see in an election where no state or national contests were slated.”
Provisional ballots will be counted over the next several days so final numbers won’t be available until that time.
